THE TEAM

Setting up the team similar to a classic football 4-4-2, Will there strategy be similar?

Wiley has definitely set up and secured a solid team with the original grime pioneers of Ruff Sqaud, Newham Generals & President T, making sure the squad has got a solid group of old school legends to guarantee a proper gritty sound clash.

Wiley has also included the likes of Safone & Fekky both of whom have had a great year in music, with Safone’s hit “She Wants a Man from Brum” & Fekky’s “Way Too Much” featuring Skepta turning heads on the airwaves.

On the night the energy levels will definitely be high, BBK’s Solo 45 will no doubt tear up the stage with his banger “Feed Em To The Lions” which has been tearing up events in the UK & Ibiza this last 12 months.

The sensible choice is no doubt P Money, he is well known for his live performance & the certified MC’s consistency always deserves a round of applause. P is a radio & rave veteran and been on top form the last 12 months. He is also certainly no stranger to clashing having clashed Big H on LOTM6 & having a dub for dub clash with Ghetts back in the day.

Wiley made it clear on Twitter he had to bring along some new young talent to help win this sound clash, AJ Tracey is a great choice. The young West London MC is making serious waves up and down the country both on radio and at festivals. He is most well known for his tracks “Spirit Bomb” & “Nalia”. We hope he brings along his MTP & YGG mandem that would be seriously shelly!

Wiley has picked the one and only Logan Sama to hold the fort behind the decks, You can be assure the selection will be top notch with no timing issues and defiantly no clanging. The Keepin It Grimy founder will be perfect for whipping the crowd into a frenzy.

The one to watch is Chip.

Chip has come into this new year as one of the most hungry, dangerous & exciting MCs in the scene. His wars with both Bugzy Malone & Yungen will in the future, be held up in the same light as the likes of P Money & Ghetts’ famous clash – Chip is undeniably ready for war. Expect very direct lyrics & impressive wordplay, he will no doubt bring serious energy to this sound clash.

THE SPECIAL GUESTS

This is definitely a strong team, although it is surprising who is not in the team and with apparently only 4 guests slots there’s a lot of talent who might not be holding it down for grime.

Some sensible Special Guests choices would be to bring out Ghetts & Big Narstie.

Ghetts is at the moment un-matched when it comes to the rave – his energy & delivery is off the scale, & Big Narstie can also throw any event into a ruckus. His #BDL Movement has many followers up and down the country who would go nuts if he stepped onto the stage. On another note, we really want to see FlowDan step into the war & drop “Ay Yo” & “Transit Van” – In our eyes, a sound clash necessity.
